Heh, I'm not sure really. I haven't had a chance to PvP much as I'm still grinding to that template (need another box or two in pistoleer.)

However, based upon a bit of reasearch and experience I'd have a few recomendations:

  • If you can get one, the geonosian blaster is a really handy way to fight ranged oponents since it does stun damage

  • I've got two different suits. One is an 80% kinetic suit with high HAM (used rairly), one is a 40-60% resistant suit with lower HAM (more of a general purpose suit), and the one I personally use the most (because it looks cool and is handy in PvE) is my black kinetic ubese suit.

  • Foods: Snowcake (The accuracy helps out alot, particularly when you need each shot to count.) Brandies are very handy as well since they boost the mind pool and its secondaries(which I've all stats migrated to I might add.) Synthsteak and BE air cakes are also useful as they increase your damage mitigation and odds of dodging an attack. If you can get some good BE anti-KD/Dizzy food they will make you life alot easier against TKM's and BH's as well. I also keep neutron pixie and muon gold handy in case I need them for emergencies.

  • Skill Tapes: I haven't really found any I can use yet, but my goal is to find some pistol speed tapes, thrown weaponaccuracy tapes, and defense tapes (possibly using some poison resistance ones as well.) Having some +warcry/Intimidate gear is useful here too.

I've got a few tactical suggestions that I'm working on myself, but they should be pretty effective, depending on the situation.

Tactic 1: Lowblow, Panicshot, and then flame them while they're lying on the ground and taking 2x damage. I'm not sure, but you might be able to get a dizzy on them as well using a carbine and marksman full-auto single. If your oponent is not vulnerable to KD's though, this could be tricky.

Tactic 2: It's not really an 'I win' tactic, but it can help out alot. Since panic shot prevents attacks for 10 seconds (until you hit them again) you can panic shot them, then use the opportunity to debuff your oponent using moves like intimidate.

Aside from the above kinda cheap tactic, I'd say you have to play it by ear. Make sure to utilize your full assortment of skills when fighting. Use delaying moves like panic shot to buy you time to get out of the way or debuff your oponent. Don't forget your marksman and brawler skills as well, as they can still be quite useful. I haven't had a chance to play around with it very much, but using novice carbine abilities (assuming you can hit the target) to apply a dizzy could be fairly useful, particularly when coupled with Lowblow. Brawler abilities like warcry and intimidate (mostly the latter though) should not be forgotten either. I haven't had a chance to play with it much, but I'm thinking there might be a way to macro unarmed center of being as well, for when you need to avoid being hit to close in on the target or run away.
