He is talking about Base DPS, not modifyed.

And yes that is low for a PFT, my PFT is in the 319 base DPS range.

Is that a Plasma Flame Thrower or just a Flamethrower?

He played before the CU, and PFlamethrowers weren't in the game before that, so it's a regular flamer..

Actually, that isn't really the way it works. I had two Flamethrowers in my inventory pre-CU and once the CU hit they both turned into Plasma Flamethrowers. I thought it might of been a bug, so I looked on all the vendors that used to have Flamethrowers on them and they had turned into Plasma Flamethrowers as well. In fact, I've only seen one regular Flamethrower on Bria since the CU and that was only because it was crafted post-CU. I'm not sure how the "conversion" process worked that the Developers set up though.

A good Flamethrower these days has about 450-950 Damage.

The DPS sounds rather low, especially considering you are at least a Master Commando, and that is Plasma Flamethrower your talking about.

all FT were converted into PFTs when the CU hit, so he would indeed be talking about a PFT...
