I am rich, and despise loot camping ( hence why i originally came to this game...).
How can I know if a proton rifle is new and fixed or old and buggy?
Dont want to waste the cash if I dont have to

You can't, so until we can confirm if all of the proton rifles are fixed and Starsider is just FUBAR, don't buy one.
