just a friendly duel, no pets no DB. I get him first hit for 800 damage and the burn incaps him a little while later. So I end duel and go over and use a stim B on him. Henow has big black in his bars(flamethrower seems to cause massive wounds!) so I offered to heal his wounds with my crappy novice medic healing.

A couple minutes later while im still healing him, he gets incapped again! Apparently he was still on fire,LOL. I keep healing him and gets incapped a couple minutes later yet again. His wounds are really bad now. Ah well, I had offered to heal him so I spend the next 10 minutes playing doctor. The "On fire" icon went away after about6 minutes.

So just a word of warning, don't duel your friends unless you want to give them massive wounds and get them incapped over and over.I think I'm gonna stay away from commando vs commando duels too. =)

Let this be a lesson. Next time you have a friendly duel with someone with your flamethrower, only duel near water, so once the duel is finished, he/she can quickly remove the burning effect.

Update note to self :

When dueling a commando stay out of his range and stay on the move..burst run.

Don't stand toe to toe - you will loose.

Other than that.. He is owned.

I find ducking in and out of max range on burst run screws any commando up.

Was this caused by Flame Single 1 or 2?

Nice idea, but the FT is now +0 at 64m, so jumping in and outat max range will just get you dead - especially after the first hit starts to burn you. You need to dance in the middle if you wanna live.

On the run + 70ish accuracy at Master lvl = alot of misses if your tring to chase someone and shooting your flamethrower. To avoid getting burned is easy. Just dont get 16m close to the commando. Its like running away from a TKA

This is going to come off as a really dumb question, but...does going in the water actually remove burn effects? Or were you joking?
