Thread: Dropped master commando for flame4... took 1 actual test
Yeah the +30 accuracy modifier is nice. Really the only reason is for flamecone2 and some accuracy bonuses for heavy weapons. So the other day I get my ATST to tank a turret and I start shooting my RL at it. Yay this is going to be fun I thought, dropped 210k on a crate of7 rocket launchers, this is what a commando is supposed to do. Then I find out I can fire like 4 rockets before they completely drain my HAM.
Not only does the RL do crappy damage, but it costs a ton of money, has low charges, and uses SO much HAM that it is impossible to actually use for it's purpose or destroying turrets/atsts without killing yourself (unless you want to pay another 6k for buffs). So I went and got myself a launcher, dropped everything except flame4, and got a bunch of pistol specials. Yeah they do better damage (blast) than the rocket launcher, dont cost me a ton of moneymoney and don't kill me super fast..
