Im a master heavy swordsman/master marksman/brawler 3040, im headed towards commando. I was just wondering how commando would go with master heavy swordsman?

If you are already master heavy swordsman, doesn't that mean you have the power hammer? Sorry I don't know brawler professions very well other than TKA. If the answer is yes, then you already have blast damage that has an AP rating. I wouldn't bother with commando, unless you really like the flamethrower. It is good for unarmored and non-heat resistant mobs.
I would suggest some other marksman-based elite profession so you can get some ranged specials. All the commando specials are in melee range.

That would definatey be a diferent combo however, both professions seem to me that they are supposed to be focused on damage and currently the commando isnt very damaging against anythiing with armor so I would say youd be better off going rifleman then youd have all the diferent damage types, some defenses, and mind bleeds = great offense.
