Thread: Is a master commando able to solo peko peko albatross?

With full buffs, a very good acid gun, 80%kin composite fully sliced and vasarian brandy/muon combo. Title says rest 
If so, how long would it take?

I don't have a directanswer to your question but I can tell you that you are not gona solo anything with a HAR. The line is broke.

I don't think ANYTHING can solo a Peko Peko Albatross. And, like the man said, the HAR line is broken. I went in with my commando, 2 master riflemen and a couple of other assorted cannon fodder. We all died about 5 times (buffs get expensive with Big Bird), and only the riflemen had much success, finally draining its mind pool. I tried my HAR and rocket launcher. Not a prayer. SHoulda just stuck with the LP and distracted it long enough for the riflemen to get in a few more shots.
This Bird is mean. Krayts are much easier. At least ya can use the flamer on krayts.

the peko peko albatross has 80k HAM, does area KD and packs a mean punch.

Before nerf of the Flame thrower = NO!!!!! ( I tried to, needed a BH and a master Doc/CM to kill the thing )
With the flamethrower nerf = NO!!! Since the HAR is pathetic and can't be called a real weapon compared to any thing other then a CDEF and the other weapons aren't going to work when it s standing on you not going to happen. Also since the ppa is 10% resistant to kinetic being a commando/tka is not going to help at all.

The reason why I'm asking is because a guildie told me that it was vulnerable to acid.
Anyhow, this sounds bad, was looking forward to selling a few feathers. Oh well. I'll stick with TKM and do night sissies instead.

Yeah vuln to acd...too bad we don't have a workin acid weapon....and even if we could damage it, there's no way a commando could put out the dps to actually take it down.

A commando CANNOT solo anything!

The guys who told you "no" don't know what they're talking about. From their responses it's clear that they just wanted to take a cheapshot at the commando balancing from the last publish.
Anyhow, AFAIK, the albatross is vulnerable to heat. If there was only one profession in the game that could solo it, it's a commando with a flamer. I live on Naboo and I believe my city is placed where there is a static area spawn of Albatross. I killed many of those birds solo when I was a commando. This was before the commando balancing when the DOT was so overpowered that I could take down this 80k HAM creature solo, so things might be different today.

Answering the question in the now is the only useful way to answer it. Sure, i used to be able to but it is simply not possible now. And that is what he wanted to know.
