Thread: What would you recommend for a single line of Commando?

First just a slight history .. I haven't played SWG in well over a year, well prior to the CU (and apparently something called the CURB too), so I'm not trying to pick the uberest template, just trying to get the most bang for my skill point and be a versatile character.
I was actually one of the first MCH's (very proud of that) and have no intentions of dropping it.
Previously I was looking at carbineer or polearm pre-CU, but now that I've got a respec I decided to go with the versatility of BH (not interested in hunting Jedi tho), and I'm looking at getting MBH as I don't have enough respec points to fill out two elite professions.
In any case, messing around with the character builder I saw that I could get a single line of commando. I was thinking about going with the flamethrower line so that I can be covered well at all ranges (flamethrower, pistol, carbine, LLC), but with so many changes that have come since the CU I thought I'd ask what you guys thought the best single line of commando was, and maybe what would best fit with MBH/MCH. Just give up your opinion of what your favorite line is and why, I'd appreciate it

Current AOE is only good for applying states at the moment. If they fix the AOE damage I would suggest the Beam Weapons line for the extra general accuracy and the LBC (one of the best Commando AOE wepaons). The only thing is that your will be shooting very slowly with that big gun if you're missing the speed bonuses from the other two Heavy Weapons lines. My current first choice is the Grenade line for the defenses and an AOE knockdown a la Imperial Detonators.

Don't go w/incendiary line because you want be able to hit anything w/ your flamer unless you go master, and the lvl 40 flamer just doesn't have a enough punch for me.So your best bet is to go for whatever gives thebest general ranged speed and acc..
