Could you imagine, trying to use one of our new fangled slower-than-waiting-for-a-pot-of-water-to-boil-specials after being hit with a speed debuff???
20 second warm up, 2 minute cool down on overkill?!
ROFL!!!!!
Wow...

I'm not sure if warmup and cooldowns are affected by weaponspeed.
Cooldowns perhaps, but really not sure about warmup.

Cooldown effected by speed debuff such as electroylte drain. Warmup time not effected. But bad enough without mod speed working and our anyway slow weps if u ask me.

oh, what do you mean with "mod speed not working" ?
Otherwise I agree, debuff would be pretty bad on overkill shot, but as it is now its not worth it anyway.

Means the number u see in the modified speed of ure weapon and the modified dps in ure weapon means nothing cause the only speed that effects is the base speed. Mod speed is broken for all proffessions actually thats why people like to us the speed macro exploit to cut cooldown timers in half.
So speed tapes are worth nothing since they dont change the base speed. Only thing that increases ure speed are buffs (doc / forcespeed) and speed pups as they effect the base speed.

It's true enough. Im capped on general ranged speed, and rifle speed, but I see 0 difference with or without my attachments.

Is that why I can't find any general ranged speed attachments?

Most people dont know that the mod speed doesnt work or are hoping it will be fixed one day. But this bug is there since CU hits live so as long as the speed macro exploit.
However people specially Jedi pay a lot for Speed tapes maybe cause they think they will be even more expensive when the mod speed is fixed.
edit : btwspeed macro exploit is fixed on tc and doesnt decrease recycle/cooldown time of specials anymore...
