Thread: Best server for a Commando?

Yay, I finally think I may have some time to seriously play SWG again (not just once a week for 30minutes or less). I have my ADK on Starsider because of that whole Commando guild thing that went south, but I'm wary of going back to the guild that Joken forsook. That and I hear PvP blows on that server as well as the GCW. The economy sucks too. /shakefist Joken. Although I could try to go back to Starsider and revitalize Vode Inya, but that's a lot of work. hmm... Any suggestions?

I'm rather fond of my server. More community then I've seen on most other servers imo but I admit I am a bit biased. AS far as pvp goes, if you don't get out there it always sucks reguardless of where you go and their will always be more Jedi then anything else in pvp. GCW blows all together due to difficulty to destroy bases and easy availability to buy new ones and drop them by the hundreds. So in the end it more of a social question or a numbers question. If your just lookin for more people around, Bria is known to have the most (when the servers aren't crashing because of it). If its a social thing, best bet is to just find a freind to hang out with. Bottom line is there is no "Best" and its mostly in the eye of the beholder.....before it shoots you with a decintigration ray. 1d20 Fort save please.

Well if you want to try a Non-Jedi PVP experiment, join test center and Join the TC-GCW Guild war (Click my PA tag and read the sitickies in the Gen Forumsfor more info).
The benifits of TC are :
1- the TCPA chat channel- Good for getting grinding groups (In which anyone can join), getting help with Epic quests, or just talking with people.
2- 3 Character Slots
3- A set of Vet Rewards that don't count against live
4- A really cheap economy
5- The friendliest players in All SWG.

Ahazi, without a doubt.
I am a 660+ Day old Commando, and i've been here the entire time. There's Me, Bate, Cheol, In, Chid, Volto, and a few other Commandos that are awesome people.
Reasons why to come to Ahazi
- Ahazi has, since this past june (I think) become marked as the best PVP server. Jeff-jeffrey McJeff made a major PvP involving over 800 players, and got an article written about it in a gaming magizine. You can expect these things to happen every so often
- There's a good balance in Rebs vs Imps now, since a lotof the dominant imps quit to sit back and watch.
- Space is relatively fun, good amount of people to kill when you need.
- Constant DWB raids by many people. Not a night goes by without 1 or 2 raids.
- I know an AS who can make you 8k kinetic armor for 250k (ill pay first suit)
- I know a WS who can make the games best guns, cheap.
- I've been trying to get all the Commandos together recently to get ready to go to ToOW and get our guns the first day of pre-order release, and i'd like another Commando there.
- Overall, I want more Commando on Ahazi, because that's my server. I've some cool stuff, a lot of stuff I dont really need, people who will make stuff freakishly cheap (even though the ADK market died a while ago), and I just want more Commando around to show people how awesome we are.

I say Valcyn, but I'm biased since that's my home server.
Not that I even log in anymore; I look at the launch icon on my desktop, and ask myself "why bother?"

Valcyn is a very nice server. PvP techniques start on Valcyn, and spread to other servers.

Deseli is Rebel. I am a mixture (Mercenary, whichever side pays more). I hear friends going back and fourth.We dont care what faction you are, you're a Commando.
