I cancelled 4 months ago when i got into the WoW beta, and damn im glad i did. Wow is so much better and its only beta. Stop putting money in there pockets and whining about how your not getting a revamp. And dont buy eq2 either. Till they change there practices.

Its not going to happen, they have been saying the same thing since Jan of last year, and they keep putting it off. wonder how many of you shelled out more money on space? LOL that will just make you a fool

The reason I bother is that I *like* this game setting. I look around and see an incredible amount of potential that is just starting to be tapped. I have fun with my character, and enjoy being a smuggler even if it IS gimped. Also, I stay around for the community. I've made friends in the game and I stay to play with them. You can solo, power level, and FOTM all you want, but if you havn't made any friends in the course of the journey then in my opinion you've missed the point ofplayingthis or any otherMMORPG. In the end it's all about the community.

I wasn't talking about the game now, but I agree. If you don't like it and see no sign of change, leave it. My subscription is canceled but paid till february. I recently have some fun again with my entertainer char but the account will most likely stay canceled and if I ever play main again until then I will definitely get rid of smuggler. I used to have a lot of friends on farstar, but they are all gone already, one half to WoW the other to CoH, and I see no point in being the last one to hang around especially with a profession that doesn't work since I can't recall when.

It was a lot of fun, but it's over for me, good luck guys.

why bother to post here, go back to WoW and let people who are having fun here, have fun, if you're not in SWG since 4 months, why bother posting here ? do you think we're stupid enough to not be able to realize by ourselves what we do enjoy and what we don't ? you think you can decide for others ? you think you own the ultimate wisdom and we fools, are too blind to see things by ourselves ?

go play another game, I'll keep playing that one cause, despite all the things, I'm having a GREAT TIME, and that, since last november, on quite a daily basis. now go to WoW beta and stop bothering us please. kthxbye

There is something to glean from this flagrant and malicious flame. A lot of people are very dissatisfied with the direction this game has gone/is going. Its no excuse for this type of post, but it is telling about how passionate some people are in their dissapointment. I have to say, I am somewhat dissapointed in SOE's priority set which seems to be motivated in large part to placating powergamers, Jedi hopefuls and pushing the product to new customers. Although, I know that this game is a product of a business venture who needs to look out for it financial best interests, I am more than a little upset about promises that were made and not kept to me, thier current paying customer. What about respecting MY investment? We the much anticipated Combat Revamp was placed behind the Jedi revamp even though it affected all the current players and not just the very vocal few who sought to reach Jedi status. This was a slap in the face to all of us who have stuck by SWG and looked at it for what it could potentially be instead of the somewhat unfinished game it currently is. Certian classes, Smugglers being amoungst them as well as Rangers and a few others are woefully under supported. Not to mention the lack of low to mid level content that seems to be irrelevant with the Armor/Buff mechanics that exist in game. It is much easier and better rewarded to gring through the Basic Proffessions as quickly and easily as possible with buffs and armor instead of playing a character through its infancy, since there is really nothing interesting for beginners to do other than a few carbon copy dungeons and mission grinding. Although I condemn Belial for the method in which his/her frustration was voiced, I do think it is important to note that there are a lot of angry people out there still waiting to be given what they have been promised. JTL is out and Jedi are "fixed". Its time to really focus on improving the game all around and putting fixes and changes in that affect EVERYONE in a positive light. Lets focus on making the game more fun and more STAR WARS than ever before now that the other issues have been dealt with. Lets spin this post around and tell SOE that we want to have fun and we want to let them know what it will take for us to have fun and MAKE them listen.
