Hey fellow commandos, I know someone posted screenies of the new weapons in action, but the pictures really don't do them justice. A commando in action is always better than a commando in still .
-I took 2 versions of each for those who have lower speeds, although they aren't that big by today's standards (the bigger versions have audio is only diference).
-All these were vidcapped using fraps.
-They are ALL encoded in DivX Format - You must have the DivX Codec to View them! Get it at that link if you do not have it.
Here they are
Heavy Republic Flame Thrower - Large 5.8 MB
Heavy Republic Flame Thrower - Small 1.9 MB
Lava Cannon Large -6.5 MB
Lava Cannon Small - 2.4 MB
Look! AoE is Working! Large - 7.3 MB
Look! AoE is Working! Small - 2.65 MB
And to Confirm that last one.. Combat Log

Fixed it! Not as elegant as i'd like but it serves its purpose.

And open those in Windows Media player if possible, or just right click and save as and do it that way.

Beautiful, isn't it? 
I prefer the HRFT over the Lava Cannon, but both are very nice weapons.

Is it me or is the HRFT like a reddish purple color instead of blue? I really hope it's just me. *gets the shakes*. Anyways, give the lava launcher a snare! Oh, and 50% damage on the LBC? I guess that's okay, but the PFT better be 80% at least. It also seemed like the Lava Launcher was 50% since the mobs around the main were at half health. I hope the other profs don't whine us into nerfdom when our "working" AOE makes us the BEST against multiple opponents. But hey, if the opposition insists on staying in nice and tight little groups when facing a Commando then they deserve it.

I used Windows Media Player, but I had the DivX codec up to date. Now, please tell me that flame is blue and not purple!

Thanks for posting those, the Lava Cannon looks alot better than I thought it would be and the HRFT looks pretty neat too.

Oh, and 50% damage on the LBC? I guess that's okay, but the PFT better be 80% at least.
The AoE % will be directly super-imposed in the /examine window of -ALL- heavy weapons.
PFT = 65%
Lava Cannon = 49%
It's based off of range (shorter ranged = better AoE), and officially puts our RL, PR, and HAR as the non-AoE weapons of the profession (HPBC has an AoE listed) of craftable/master level weapons. Same would apply for the other non-AoE weapon loots.
Also notice...the Radius: 6 m still will be displayed, for some odd reason...but the AoE % will be the actual measure if a weapon is AoE or not.

I can't help it! Everytime I watch that I keep thinking about how that flame is PURPLE! AArrrrgghh. Please oh please someone tell me I'm crazy or tell them to make it more blue. I can't help but think of Cantina's and Purple Twilek dancers with beer helmets and foam fingers when I see that....hmmm myabe that's not such a bad thing. Still! No purple flames.
