Thread: Commando Template / Creature Handler Is this worth it?

I've been working towards master commando and master CH on Ahazi but is ithis combo worth my time?


Positive Aspect:

- I'm a one man army (with a storm trooper and 3 pets, rebel bases don't last too long)

- Fairly unique combo

- Rancors make good tanks


Negative Aspect:

- Pets don't work in bunkers

- I lack high damage attacks like torso shot or sniper shot


Anyone else have thoughts on this combo or have suggestions on what to switch to? I've seen a lot of commando / BH combo's. If you have better combo's please let me know and why (if you would).

A long time ago this used to be an acceptable path. However, until our AOEs get fixed, your 3 pets would have to last a loooong time for you till kill a PvE spawn. Back when I was last a MC and CH, we didn't have enought skillpoints to master CH, so I don't know how well things would work now. I suspect that you would be disappointed in your overall performance since if you dropped CH, you could get a higher dps mastery with commando and kill PvE much faster. On the other hand, some of the most fun I had in SWG was with pets.
