Thread: What to call the Guild of Commandos???

Here's some ideas of mine (most could go any direction in terms of allignment), I'll post more as I think of 'em. Bear in mind that I'm going for ones that sound like they could be potential Star Wars faction/association names over phrases of destruction like "Krush, Kill,'N Destroy" <KKND>, as I feel them a bit more appropriate to the game:
- Agressive Recon Commandos - ARC (fitting, and potentially either Rebel/Neutral/Imperial)
- Delta Squadron - DELTA (conjurs up images of delta force like group, also associated with the Deltas from Republic Commando)
- Clan <Insert Appropriate EU name here> - This would be a sort of RP name for a remaining Mandalorian clan, or a group that was formed to follow in the traditions of the Mandalorians. Ie. In KotoR you had Clan Ordo.In our case we could come up with some other clan name associated with an EU commando, or just make one of our own up that sounds like it might have come from Star Wars, like if I we were to go with Clan Halkyon (based on my character's surname which sounds half-way believable in terms of Star Wars soundiness). The tag would reference the clan name chosen. If we went down this path, we could potentially invent warring Mandaloriancommando clans at a later date as well (faction-specific clans) as more folk join. If that ends up happening it'd be neat to find clans that would support one of the three factions (Rebel/Neutral/Imperial) to some historical degree.
- The Last of the Mandalorians - <Mandl> Sounds a bit too much like last of the Mohicans for my tastes, but it's not a bad name.
I'll try and come up with some better ones when I'm not so tired...

I call them Bomber Squad, or Demolition Force... something along that line

My preference is that we choose a name of a merc company from the EU, or barring that, make our own Merc Company. We should brainstorm like the top 10 names and those of us who create and work on our toon on the chosen server should choose the name of the guild. I sure as hell hope this goes thorugh because we could really make people realize that Commando isn't just for FS grind!! Show them what a plasma flame thrower was meant to do. Just a thought, though.
