Hello,

i just had a quick question about throwing nades. can having commando 4000 be effective for nade use? also, what other "general" skills does it go under... for example does general melee help in the throw accuracy equation or does general range accuracy? thank you much in advance.

....I smell an FS grinder.....

But anyways, I wouldn't know becaus ei don't use grenades period.....it sucks for PvE and even more for PvP. Although I would think that since grenades are a ranged weapon that they would take general ranged mods....who knows, try asking the FS forums for more info

thanks for your help, to put you at ease, i am NOT a fs grinder. i am thinking of doing m tkm, m cm, commando 4000. i am a bh now, but i am a bit tired of all the exploits and negative post on either forums - not ALL post are negative. anyway, just thinking of how to improve my damage output as a tkm. thanks again.

maybe i should ask if you can have only 1 tree in the commando profession... which one would be the best tree to take.

well, some people take the beam weapons for the LBC and the good general ranged acc mods, but preferably I think commando is more of a complete mastery profession than just dabbling....because grenades and basically all of our weapons are borked hehe

If you could take 1 tree, i wouldn't take a tree, i would just take 0/0/3/1 i think thatequals the skill points in a tree, you get three certs in there i think, our all important flamer, rocket luancher, and our heavy acid rifle.

In their current configuration grenades are not going to be worth your effort. You would be better off as a tkm with one of the smuggler lines or what Oslois said above with commando xx31 even though he is wrong about the skillpoint cost (14 points for a full tree vs 17 skillpoints for going xx31).

3out of 250 skill points shouldn't ake too much out of your plans, right? It would if you only had 14 skillpoints left.
