Thread: some possibly stupid questions

Hi , I just respeced to commando (from MBH/MRM), seemed like everyone has a T21 and a MBH tag, so I chose style.
on to my questions
1) can you throw grenades quicker if you throw different types? (i.e. Pro G, then The Det, the Imp Det) it seems to work , just want confirmation before i take on bigger stuff
2) Fanshot with Hvy Weap, is it supposed to do only elemental DMG to surrounding Targets?
3) what are good specials to use with Hvy Weaps?
4)Is master Pistoleer a coplimentry proffession with commando?
5) any commando friendly wep smiths on radiant?
6) any tactical advice for a new commando?
My Squad leader told me "the only stupid question was the one that wasn't asked", I hope I didn't make a lair of him.

1. yes
2. area specials with aoe weapon dont work and elemental damage is just shown in combat log without being dealt
- there is no area damage at all
3. i'm mcom/mbh and use advanced critical and torso shot as primary damage specials
improved underhandshot works very well on enemy groups =)
same goes for blind and dizzy shots they can really turn your situation in combat when facing to much enemys
4. no - smuggler would work better
5. dunno
6. ignore the bugs, forget about grenades

A clarification on Q#1:
Each grenade has a 18 or so second base timer, and some have an extra secondary timer (some lower level nades dont have em, most of the higher level ones do depending on the grenade). If you throw two thermal detonators consecutively, you hit this second timers. If you throw a thermal and then a proton, you only get stuck with the base timer.
Also...smuggler is nice so far because of its 30+ second root. That may not stay indefinitevely ya know
