Hi, sorry if this has been asked but i was wondering if creature handler was a good skill to have with commando?
If anyone has any suggestions on another skill that would be better, i would greatly appreaciate it.

I've got this exact template, and it is horrible for one big reason: No special attacks. At all. The only way to get any is to go into BH since with CH and commando you already have the pre-requisite trees. I've had to use 15 SP on artisan however to survey for resources since I can't make money, and thusly do not have a single special attack, (And am thusly probably the weakest CL 80 player on the server) so im basically limited to getting that first KD with a rocket launcher and then hoping my other weapons and their 30 percent state chance do something. Which they commonly don't do in time, or barely have any effect. I think you might be able to get half of a tree and another box in BH though, but that's the only place you'll get any special attacks, im not sure if you'll even be able to get anything useful, but if you can't, there's no hope for you when it comes to combat against other players or anything CL 81.

This question is asked quite often and I have to say that I would discourage it IMO. Like said above, you have no special attacks and there is an added problem with commando weapons and that is AOE aggro. If you have noticed, your pets tend to warp around with aggro and pathing with 3 pets plus 3 mobs becomes very confusing as aggro shifts from you and back to pets. Add to that your commando AOE causing problems with aggro and possibly hitting non-aggro bystanders in the process. Overall, I expect you would find the combination frustrating at the very least.
However, I always tell aspiring CH's that when I was a CH, it was some of my most enjoyable times in SWG. Training up new baby pets was always fun to me.
