Thread: Is there a commando spec everyday weapon?

Can you just train up the commando tree to master and use one of the specialty weaps all the time instead of a rifle/pistol/carb? (and save the point?)

That would be the Launcher Pistol, and maybe the Flamethrower...depends on what you feel like using

Well if you like to die alot go with the acid rifle or the flamethrower.

So if I have the launcher pistol I wouldnt have to go beyond master marksman and can put the rest into medic and scout...

I love the launcher pistol. I not a pure commando I'm just going up the heavy weapons and field tactics lines but The launcher pistol with my smuggler specials and pistoleer bonuses does some serious damage and I love the light show thank god I have a fast computer with a good video card.
People that havent been hit by it before are always scared out of there wits. HeHe and even if your used to it it is still a serious distraction causing alotmistakes. I love it.

Am i understanding correctaly that the Launcher pistol is technicaly a pistol and can use pistol specials?

Basically go Master Pistoleer and get Novice Commando.
Then get a really nice Launcher Pistol and you'll be more powerful than a Master Commando.

For now that may be true but im climbing heavy weapons becuase I think in the future Commandos will be the highest single shot damage player in the game.
