I just got my first one yesterday, and to my surprise I was actually doing good damage with it. Unfortunately, I am down to about 60 charges left and it was very hard to come by. The question is, can people make additional charges for me or will I have to drop another 20k to buy one when I'm out?

you will have to buy a new one...if you find someone who can make them..buy 5 at a time as that will last a little bit. However as the resources shift on planetsw, the minerals needed may become hard to non- existant to find at times. We will see if this is still true after the "commando fix".

If you can buy a stockpile, do so, as some galaxies have not even seen some of the HW that are available to us, or many Weaponsmiths simply do not make them as they are more trouble than they are worth to make.

I was hitting for like 900 about half the time. Not extreme, but damage nontheless. Unfortuanately, today I used it and was lucky to get half that.

fyi all heavy weapons act like melee weapons against rifle/carbine users, so you may somtimes get 2-3x your normal damage and be unarware of why
