I had just gained Novice Commando the night before and I was all excited about trying a Launcher Pistol, so I wandered over the Ataki's Tatooine weapons shop (Intrepid server) with my brother and bought the last Launcher Pistol on the vendor. Eager to try it out, I duelled with my brother a bit and all was well, I was fairly content although I didn't get to shoot more than 5 times.

Anyway, we ended the duel and walked off when all of a sudden my Launcher Pistol disappeared from my quickslot, my hands and my inventory. My brother looked at me and I still had my Pistol in my hands, but I didn't have it on my game. I logged out and logged in again but my Pistol was still not there, but my brother could still see the Launcher Pistol in my hand. I changed weapons to a Carbine, Vibroknucklers and a Rifle, all of which appeared in my hands on my screen, but no matter what weapon I changed to my brother could still see the Launcher Pistol in my hand. I asked a couple of passers by ifI had the Pistol equipped and they said that I did. Whenever I shot with another weapon, to my brother, I would shoot with my Launcher Pistol but it would have the graphic of the weapon I was really using. Eg. I equipped a Laser Carbine, but to my brother I had a Launcher Pistol shooting lasers, just like the Laser Carbine.

I switched to Unarmed and all my brother saw was me walk up to the creature with Launcher Pistol in hand, and the creature would just take damage with no animation from me.

A passer by I was talking to told me that my Pistol would come back eventually,within 2 days,and to just bug report it. I reported the bug and am waiting to see what happens now.

Anyone else had anything similar to this happen? This isn't the regular trade bug where an item won't appear in your inventory after a trade until you re-log, this item simply disappeared while I was using it. Weird!

sometimes things do vanish and never seem to come back. It sucks big time, often you can get reimbursed MAYBE the cost you paid for it, but maybe not.

I took 4 grenades out of a crate this evening, while I was hotkeying the second one it vanished on me along with the other 3. I am guessing they will be back after the patch, maybe your pistol will return then too.

I had 2 VK's and a Launcher Pistol disappear on me Sunday. When they reset the server Monday morning they reappeared. Annoying and you aren't always as lucky (i've had 3 weapons poof for good though a CSR reimbursed me for them), but sometimes they come back.

my FT disappeared just after purchasinging it i sent in a ticket and it was back in my inventory the next day...

I had exactly the same thing happen to me. In fact I then bought a second pistol and it too disappeared. A couple of days later the first oneI bought re-appeared but my FWG5 had disappeared along with a whole boat load of resources that I won't detail. The other funky thing is that now when I log in, my tusken helmet equips itself even if I hadn't equiped it when I log out.

I have a CSR ticket that is over a week old with five seperate issues on it that has yet to be addressed, go customer service!

Hey look at it this way at least you didn't have this happen to you:

On my char on the Flurry server I logged in two days ago to find one of my backpacks had disappeared from my inventory. Now normally this wouldn't have bothered me to much but the night before this happened I had just filled that backpack up witha mixture of various med packs (about 45 total) split out into wound C's, stim C's, and a few stim D's. I'm still hoping the dam bag shows back up but I doubt it will now, took me most of Saturday night to make them allto.

I have had some weapons dissappear after buying them also. It happened to me with my long vibro axe and a scout blaster. If you log out for 20-30 minutes then the items should re-appear.

I ahve had storm trooper armor do that... tell that doesn't suck!
