Thread: Where do commandos hunt?

I just made novice commando and am finally certed for my launcher pistol, but there's just one problem...nobody wants to group with me anymore Apparently massive explosions from the gun are lagging people out, and they don't like big explosions. What's a budding commando to do? I'd buy a flame thrower or something else if I could find one, but for now I'm stuck with the LP. I'm getting sick of soloing, and would rather group up with people. Is there some secret place to hunt with other commandos or people that don't mind things that go boom?

Cloning facilities, at least that's where we end up if we try to use a special.

Seriously, if you want to get exp, use warning shot and hunt solo. This one skill should allow you to hunt huge animals without getting killed. Solo, because if you hit warning shot, and then your friends shoot it, it will just stay right there. You want them to stay as far away as possible. Health shots will speed up the process, hence the reason for picking up pistoleer for health shot 2, but it is not necessary.

Humbabas are not that bad. Crazed durnies are not that hard, and give decent exp quickly. These are on Corellia. I pick up lv 23 missions with my FlameThrower, and kill everything on the way except your pack animals(a few exceptions . Humbabas aren't that bad, and the missions usually pay close to 4k.

Im with him. Rabbits. LP works great, maybe you should rethink your strategy in how you kill them though.

to gain xps as commando is very simple

go back to the noob creatures you killed on day 1...make sure not to use any commando weapons other then the launcher pistol as they are a waste of time

acid rifle-ap0 while the other "acid weapons" are ap1. player made dlt20a's have similar if not better stats

grenades-do more damage to user then they do to target (if you hit)

flame thrower-lol use a special and die-great weapon there!

my advice is to go bounty hunter at least they aren't broken...

Hunting guide 101 for the lousy pathetic excuse that is Commando.

Prerequisites -
1. You enjoy pain and suffering and sheer boredom
2. Train Pistoleer to get Healthshot2.
3. Buy a bot (any bot)

Instructions

1. Goto Rori. Restuss or Narmle (commando trainer in Narmle). Pull out your bot (any bot). Group with him and park it in town somewhere safe

2. Get a mission to kill Leviasqualls.

3. Go to mission

4. Notice 2 bunnies and lair.

5. Target 1st bunny from 65m.

6. Healthshot 2 - Healtshot 1 - Bodyshot

7. Target 2nd bunny.

8. Do step 6 to bunny 2.

9. Run away.

10. Notice on Rori that the bunnies run slower than the turtles. Have a laugh.

11. Keep running away till lair is not on radar at 128m.

12. Do circles till bunnies dead. 1871 xp a pop. 3742 a run.

13. Go back to lair and notice it has reset. Two new bunnies to kill.

14. Repeat steps 4 through 12.

15. Do this until you have killed 2000 bunnies and you will have gone from Novice to Master Commando.

That's it. The simplest, quickest way to get to Master Bunny Slayer.

The huge bunnies whip my ass, but yield good xp. My LP just doesn't deal enough damage. Maybe I should go master pistoleer first before trying to use a launcher pistol...geez what was I thinking
