you took out an at st on your own ??
how ?
flame dot is powerfull .. but the at-st will kill you even with buffs within 20 seconds ...
off topic: for the post that said novice BH can beat commando I would have to disagree. An expert commando should have 75% chance of killing a master BH without taking more than 500 dmg. at around 45-60m your HPC that is your chance of hitting (I've recently been lucky with this and had very little trouble dealing with BH's)(fyi, my HPC is sliced to over 4k dmg)
tactics or no tactics, this guy had to be lucky to catch morons in bestine that day....
a master pistoleer getting hit with a HBC shot causing 2.5k dmg while he's walking by?! in order for one to actually hit, either you have to be lucky OR the guy had to be standing still!
and people getting killed by flame s II while they're coming out of the cantina? either they're blind or stupid.... (or didnt see their radar)
either this guy found idiots in bestine, or is making most of this up (oh, do tell about the at-st since it takes alot of time for one to die from burn...the guy wouldve been able to clone, come back, and order it to fire on you again + db you)
I hate these posts, its just the fuel the nerf whiners need to start their fires.
Hmmm well yea he was lucky. If I find people unprepared and disorganized then I cna do this but once people start paying attention or people who like PvP show up I ma toast.
Good armor on his oponents would have helped... prevents one hit kills. People still burn but if there is a good Doc around that is not a problem. And people let him get ot 16m. Repeatdly. This does not indicate a high lvl of professionalism.
I just had a night where I went against a combat medic/doctor, a smuggler/commando, a carbineer, and a BH over and over in Anchorhead. I was giving as good as I got mostly but I died a lot. This makes it sound easy but with good enemies your going to loose a lot.
I do agree wiht the AT-ST though they are really not that hard to kill. Especial if your close...they miss a lot when your practicly under them. They might incap you but your gonna do a lot of damage before they get you... especial if you have decent armor and a shield.
Also if you jsut Incap the owner of hte AT-ST and then work hte pet by steppiing in and out of 64m range with a good rifle or a rocket launcher you can kill one pretty easy. NOt a thing the owner can do about it. Cant recall or command it while incapped and ever time you step out of 64 m it looses agro...well aproximatly 64m. Give or take a few =). YOu can also have a partner time the Incap so you know right when to hit the owner again as he stands =). Not very nice but useful.
Hardly any one brings out the AT-ST on our server any mroe except for base defenses and hunting on adventure planets. If you bring one ot Anchorhead you are asking to lose it. Also they don't really need it... most of them are so effective on their own no one needs ot use them.

1: flame shot 2 on at-st
2: at-st hits health for about 950
3: at-st hits action for over 1000
4: flame shot 1 on at-st
5: at-st hits health for about 900
6: at-st hits mind for about 1000 (moun gold saved me)
7: flame cone 1 on at-st
8: at-st hits health for over 1k
9: I'm incapped
all the flame dots are stacked and at-st died promptly. I was not slain by at-st because a covert reb hit me with a stim. fyi, I was wearing 49-59% tasius armor and a 43% energy protect shield generator.
What is Tasius armor? Never heard of it?
I have heard of Marine Armor - Composite etc.
Never knew armor could get over 40%.
