I am having no problem with Heavy Weapons XP....but Combat xp is just grinding in slow...any suggestions on that....obviously combat xp is typically 10% of the regular xp...but I'm looking for ways to boost this...

I know that using traps leads to higher combat xp...is this the same with grenades? I haven't bought any grenades yet (kind of waiting until I got field tactics 2 before starting to invest)...

Any other suggestions...or is it just a grind...normally I would just take care of the combat xp by filling up the other trees, but I'm also working on some combat xp for another profession (my secondary) so it becoming a really fun grind...

if you want to become master command you should have no problem getting enought combat exp ..

you need arround 10 times more heavy weapon exp then combat exp to master commando ...

You can get anywhere from 1-3k in combat XP per grendade. A few times I got as much as 4K in combat XP by throwing a single grenade

Thanks BobbyJack...that's exactly what I was looking for...just trying to justify buying a crate of grenades...if it helps the combat xp then it's worth it...

As for the previous post that says I should have more then enough...please read my post again...as I stated I'm trying to fill the commando combat tree and another profession combat tree (pistoleer)...sure I would normally have plenty of combat xp for commando alone, but not for both...and the goal is to get higher faster to make it even easier to get bigger xp...

Glop grenades on Grassland Voritor Trackers and Frag grenades on bol's. You'll want to kill them with a bleed since that will make the grenade damage count more when it comes to calculating XP. I would throw one grenade, then flame or bleed them.

Go to Dantoine to find these critters.

I did Baz Nitch missions for a week to get master commando. also made about 1M creds in the process.
