I gave up master commando. Too much long delays, short range and poor accuracy in EVERY weapon to make it worthwhile. I'm going to keep my flame thrower and finish off pistoleer. If they were to increase the range of the HAR and Flame thrower I'll probably come back, or just make the grenades more accurate or longer ranged.


Right now other than the flame thrower I just can't see a reason to use that many skill points on one profession that generally does the same thing across the board on all weapons. Long range, long and longer delays and poor accuracy. Big damage yes, but its a game of hit and win if you can stay alive to get off another shot, or miss and die, pretty much every time.

I can understand whyyou mightdrop Master. Flame Cone 2 is nice, but tought to use effectively in practice.

I'm staying in the hopes they further improve the class (and whatever it's flaws now, it's 10 times more effective than it was before) and make Master a bit more effective, but it's hard to fault anyone for leaving.

the range is ok.. flames shouldnt be able to be shot any farther than they already do.. the grenades and other heavy weapons do have really bad acuracty tho..

Our weapons are accurate enough. I don't see you dropping the flamethrower tree just because ITS accuracy is horrible

Grenades need help I think, but not as much as I once thought.

I'm leaning to surrendering ALL of my commando skills because I'm tired of getting the "you have no skill" thrown at me in PvP.....well I'm sorry if the flamer is my only weapon that works....I'm sorry if I don't have the skill points to get another elite proffession that interests me in the least....This is just getting rediculous and since I'm not seeing a fix in the commando trees at all (to either make master worth it or a fix in the HAR) this is just a waste of my skill points at this point.

I don't think I've used single or cone in PvP on a regular basis in the last 2 weeks.

HPBC = ownage.

I'm sticking at 0/4/4/0 until they make grenades and the HAR worth it.

I really want the HAR and nades to be worth it. I have enough xp built up to get the first 3 boxes in each line. All the devs have to do is give me a reason good enough to surrender scout.

I already did, and ya know what, its really not 'that' bad. I don't plan on getting terain management back ever. Its not worth that many skill points in my opinion

BTW, I'm on bria and bought a Krayt Launcher Pistol today and got it sliced. Good slice, 30%, but its a speed slice and I'm just a few boxes away from master pistoleer so speed isn't what i need. I'm going to sell it if anyone is interested, its perfect for the commando who doesn't want to spend a lot of skill points on speed mods under pistoleer. Its stats are 58-264, 1.7 speed. I paid 150K before the slicebut would be willing to let it go for less. Bidding starts around 90K.

Who cares what they say, if they had any more skill then you then they wouldn't be the ones whimpering at the cloneing facility now would they?
