Thread: Is there something wrong with HW?
Ok, maybe i'm missing something but from the way it sounds from everything i've read. People don't care about the heavy weapons. Besides costing money per shotwhat is wrong with them? I mean cash is the easiest thing to get in this game!
Maybe i'm just tired of seeing everyone and their mom running around using flamethrowers or something?
Enlighten me if they aren't very good please.![]()
I think the biggest issue, for me, is the rarity of the resources needed to make exceptional weapons. You can find some decent weapons but really, unless you know someone who can make them or can make them yourself then it is just too unreliable. You can pay between 40k and 60k for avery good heavy weapon, and that is for less than 30 shots.
You get a good flamethrower or acid rifle, if you that way inclined, and it will be with you long enough for you to be able to find a replacement.
Weaponsmiths dont like making them because they dont sell or sell very slowly. I know a master weaponsmith/smuggler that makes very good sliced heavy weapons but you have to pretty much catch him online when he is crafting or mail him for orders, he just wont make the good ones in advance. He will have dozens of flamethrowers and LLCs for sale because they sell and they turnover quite quickly.
I think they need to address the whole accuracy vs charges vs availability thing with them. When someone pulls one out and hits with it the show is spectacular, but there are too many drawbacks in my opinion. I would prefer to use them over a flamethrower but I wont bother with them until that happens.
