To me and many other commandos, Master commando isn't worth the skill points right now. I was thinking of dropping it and doing this:

Commando 0-4-4-0
Creature Handler 4-4-0-3
Medic 2-0-0-0

Or

Commando 0-4-4-0
Creature Handler 4-4-0-0
Medic 2-0-3-0

Very, VERY few professions will make you feel warm and fuzzy with Master status.

That's just the way it is. ~J

Do what you think will give you the best playing experience. Both of the the templates you have listed will be fantastic PvE.

I've said this on other boards, but I'll say it again here, too.

Creature Handler 4/4/0/0 is worthless. Stop at 3/3/0/0, or bite the bullet and go 4/4/0/4, because there's no use for anything in between. Don't be fooled, the CH tree is still broken in many ways. ~J

Omegaplex is right. Everybody who has mastered a profession automatically starts to wonder if there's a better choice for them. Lots of stuff is broken or hasn't been tweeked just right yet... I'd hold out for a few more weeks to see what kind of changes come before re-vamping your template.

CH 4/4/0/0 is worthless? I like my gnarled rancor, and all you have to do is buy your pets you dont need to train them yourself

Yes, I think you and I have even talked about this online. I dropped Master Commando as well. While it has some nice perks, the problem is, those skill points can be put to SOOOO much better use elsewhere. This seems to be true almost no matter where you spend them.

With my 81 skill points I feel a need to get: Exploration III: 24 skill points and Novice Medic: 15 skill points. That leaves only 42 skill points left. Which is not enough to master another profession.

I thought about what I liked about Commando right now, and pretty much it was only the heavy weapons and the flame thrower. So, I dropped the rest and took up Master TKA to supplement defenses, AND to give myself something to do when the inevitable melee aggro happens.

I am having a great time as Commando/TKA right now. This is my main point in posting: Do what is FUN! Don't get caught up in the min-maxer mentality. Don't try to make the most uber character you possibly can. In the end he just won't be uber, no matter what you do. Instead focus on what you have the most fun doing, and do that. In the end when all the min-maxer guys get tired of the game because they can't be uber enough, you will still be having fun.

The tmeplate I am shooting for (no pun intended) is...

Smuggler 0-0-4-0
Creature Handler 4-4-0-0
Pistoleer 0-0-4-0
Commando 0-0-4-0

that way I figure I wll have the best pistols available to me aswell as flamethrower making me incredibly powerfull in P v P. also the pistoleer tree and smuggler tree I chose give me the best

just my thoughts
