I want to stay a master Creature handler and was wondering how this combo would work?

Master Creature handler, Master Marksmen

Exploration and huntin 4(Prereq for CH)

Unarmed 4(Prereq for commando)

Flamethrower 4 and heavy weapon support 4

would this work at all? or would I be better off as a Pistoleer/Creature Handler? My current spec once I max out would be Master in both pistol and Creature handler... Anyone who can give some advice, it would much appreciated!

No I'm almost a master Commando and I'm a CH and I can take a at-st out with me and my pet, I say flame4 and a good CH pet

I'm not sure I would recommend Master CH unless you really want to.

I posted all the combinations needed for the various types of pets.

I would rather have the flexibility of healing my pet versus having 2 or 3 pets out.

But it's all up to you.

Honestly I wouldn't worry about it....yet anyway. I'm facing the same dilemma myself. Here's my thinking, yes you'll want Heavy Weaps for Rocket Launchers to combat AT-ST and the like, but what happens when they fix/adjust the Heavy Acid Rifle? What if they reduce the DOT of the flamethrower? What happens to the viability of the being a low-level CH when they finally throw the DE's a bone and come out with a fairly powerful combat robot? Droidecka or Graul Mauler?......

Point is, if you're anything like me whatever you decide to do today will change sometime in the not too distant future depending on game changes/enhancements/etc. Don't sweat it. Pick something and enjoy it while it lasts....until you decide you want something different.
