Where would a good hunting ground for heavy weapon xp be for me?

I would like to find some groups, i know you can make very good xp in groups, so i was thinking along the line of endor, until i went there today and the whole place was empty...Where is everyone at? There must be a whole planet im missing or something...any suggestions?

I mastered Commando fairly quick by hunting on Dathomir. All you need is some medical skills and a Moutain Krevol (non-CH pet). Iuse the krevol because of the light armor and 30% resist to kinetic. They also do very little damage since they are only lvl 14. This keeps them from taking too much of your weapons exp.

All you have to do is search through the missions until you find 2 Brackaset missions. Brackasets are non-aggressive pack animals. If you attack one they all come. Basically all you do is send your pet in to attack the first Brackaset. Most of the time the rest will aggro on your pet. If one aggros on you unequip your FT (to keep from getting the 2.5 penalty), hit 'peace', then tell your pet to attack the aggroed mob. If you have decent armor and/or heals you will stay alive long enough for the pet to reaquire the creatures aggro.

By this time your poor Krevol has been getting beat on by 3-6 brackasets andhas undoubtedly taken some damage. Use you med skills to heal the pet and then use a 'pet stimpack' to heal him again (since they use separate timers).

This next part depends on your skill with FT but you must have atleast aquired the first block.

If you have little to no skill in FT you will have to Flame Single 1 the mob that you krevol is currently attacking. Then have your krevol switch targets while you wait for the timer to reset. Then Flame Single 1 the next target. Periodically you will have to run up and heal your pet. If you get aggroed repeat the process discussed earlier. Continue this cycle until all the mobs have the DOT on them. The first has probably already dropped and you can just start using the default attack to finish them off. Another way to assist this process is to use the Launcher Pistol to Health Shot each of the Brackasets.

If you have the 2nd block or higher with FT this process is alot faster and easier. All the steps are pretty much the same as above except this time you will lead off with Flame Cone. Since the DOTs stack all the Brackasets will drop alot faster.

Once you become efficient at this process it will take no time to get all the Heavy Wep experience you need to Master the Profession. It takes me roughly 1.5-2 minutes to kill an entire spawn now. Each kill gives 3K+ exp. I have fought from 3-8 at once. It yields alot of exp over time.

One of the things that makes this so great is that Brackasets don't DB. If you think you are going to get incapped - Don't Run-stick it out and try to DOT them all. In the time you are waiting to get up most of them will die and you will still get the exp. Just don't get incapped 3 times in 10 minutes and you will be fine.
