I dont know wether this a commando thing or the Devs in there greatwisdom made it were after I do a special attack using my Flammer, Single1 ect., I cant do another thing untill that special moves time of use is over. Not even command my creatures, chat in spatial. Is this a draw back to the Commando or did they just add this? Please is anyone else having this problem or wha? I am sorta new to the Commando class but I was a Master Bounty Hunter bored and wanted to train commando. I know the BH has no draw backs such as this. I could blast away with my LLC and command my pets at will.

Happens to me too. After I flamesingle2, I swap to a pistol and run, hoping that my feign death will go off soon. Usually by the time it does I can either falmesingle 2 again, or (or frequently) select my desired cloning location.

OMG

I continue to chat in spatial and stuff like that even after I use the specials. I think theres something laggy though with the system, because sometimes I get a pause before stuff is typed and sometimes I don't. I think its due to lag.

yes thats right u cant during any dealy u cant talk sit ,kneel,go pron, or any thing that is shown outerly

Is this new? I thought some people have always had this problem. I have not been on for 1 week, but prior to that I could do whatever I wanted during my special cooldowns (except perform a combat move). I do recall that many people had a problem with the cooldown and not being able to do anything, but it seemed limited to a small # of people (unknown cause).

On the other hand, has there been a patch since I have been gone (22 Oct) that made the cooldowns inactive periods for everyone? Obviously when I get back I will be checking this, but that is still 2 days away.

I've noticed this problem since the last patch, maybe it was there before and didn't notice it dont really know. Its bad when you cant even yell for help after using a special, I'm usually d/b by the time my special wears off if I'm in a group. Its also bad if your solo and havea pet, you cant command them during the cool down period. My pet just sits by my corpse after I get d/b.

Hmm, I defenately can chat during the flamer cool down... and defenately can switch weapons.

As I am also heading for TKA Master I do tank the mobs on the cool down timer, so it works for sure (would be kinda hard not noticing if the mob is hiting me for 2.5 damage, rather then ~0.5 damage with unarmed toughness).

I can switch weapons and use my armour macro but can't speak.

To control your pet during the delay is use

/tellpet <command>

As for the delay it hasnt bothered me I usually kill my enemies with flame single2, I cant wait to get Flame Cone 2.

If i dont kill them my DoT kicks in before my next attack, which means that kills them its awesome. My deley time has gone down as i go up the flame tree. so maybe you have a crappy flamethrower who knows anyways use /tellpet <command>
