Thread: I think this is the worst combat prof out there, 3k xp? **edit**!!!

How in the hell am i supposed to do commando in a decent amount of time when i can only get maybe 3k xp if i am lucky. I just wanted to post that this profession sucks ASS!!!!! My friends told me commando is fun, go ahead and try it. Well i have mastered 16 professions now, and commando is going to be the worst of them all.

for this to be a truely effective flame, you need to elaborate some more. what are you getting 3k xp at a time from? Also you are welcome to your opinions. Even though I did drop commando to persue other professions, it was definately a very fun profession to play. Even with all it's issues.

one more thing, what do you consider a decent amount of time? Couple days? Weeks? I don't think the dev's intent for hybrid professions is to be able to master them very quickly. IMO that makes it that much more satisfying when you finally do.

I was Master Commando for a while.
Just go out and grind up to Flame IV. You are now a killing machine (PvE). You should be able to get master in 1.5 days max once you have Flame IV.

Grab flame 4, a decent pet, and take missions. Have the pet attack the lair to attract agro. When a few more crits spawn, approach and use flamecone a couple times. Not sure what you were doing before, but even without what I just said, commando xp is pretty quick I find.
Oh, and try Master Politician, that's a real quick one too

If you're really desperate for something to get you up there quicker, buy some ormachek... on Chilastra I found some at 10k for 25 uses, 5% xp bonus for 20 kills... the draw back is it's 80% filling so it takes around a half hour before you can use it again, but for 20 kills you get 5% more xp, not a bad thing to have when you find that really juicy xp lair 
Edit: And in case anyone forgot to mention it, group with a pet, even if you just leave em at the starport you should still get the group xp bonus.

worst lol took me 1.5 days to get flame 4 then the exp flooded in what he hell you doing, at 3k exp per kill thats good exp at the rate you can kill things lol, try CH lol then tell me Commando is slow hehe, BH is far slower to (except the LLC line which is the same

The savage quenker missions that everyone loves on Dant are good. If you have a pet of sorts grouped you get ~3.5k xp per kill and you can one-shot them at flame 4. You can do 2 missions and spend more time righing your speeder to them. 100k is like 6 missions which is mayby 15-20 mins. 100k in 20 mins (just guessing, I never timed) means you can do a branch in and evening pretty easily. Slow my a$$.

i was bh and i did fl4 one day with llc(i dont remamber time but im sure not more than 5 hours) and i think commando is very fun pro.

I'm so sorry. I feel so incredibly bad for you. How dare they make it so you can't macro your way to the top in 24 hours. Thats horrible. Like, wow.

or do baz nitch lairs on dathomir...
besides 3k xp is cap regardless..dont blame us
