Thread: Problems with Flame Cone 2?

So, I have been using the Flame Cone 2 for a while and am just noticing something. I will use it and be in range of the people I am hitting, and only the initial target will get hit by the cone. All of the others will say that they were hit and have the numbers float up above their head, but not take any damage on their HAM bars.However, they all have Flame DOTs as if they were hit. This does not happen all the time though. Sometimes all of them will take a hit from the initial cone and others it wont. I am asking if anyone else has experienced this or has had a similiar experience. I only ask so that it could be put on a list for testing and such since we might be getting looked at soon. Of course, this could all be in my head so if you are having no problems with this then let me know as well.

hmmm i will have to check this out i just assumed it worked

That used to happen to me all the time. ALL Cone attacks only actually apply hits on people that are already in combat with you. So if you shoot a guy, it'll hit him, and aggro everyone else near him. It's a bug, I think.

You know, I think that is exactly what the problem is. It wont hit all targetswith the initial damage unless they are already attacking you. However, it will show the numbers above their head as if you did hit thm with the initial damage and get a DOT.Can anyone else verify this? I will test it out when I can.
