Thread: Can any special be used with any weapon??

since the CU as gone live now i am confused on something. as commandos now we get no specials thus we have to dabble in other professions to get specials. but how do we know if a special can be used with our particular weapon? or can all specials now be used with all weapons??
the reason im asking is cuz i dont want to spend the time climbing a certain skill tree and realize i cant use a particular special with my particular weapon.

special can be used with any weapon you are certified for, you can use stopping shot with your FT.

so i have just speced to comando never tried it but now i have to respec to get any special i dont have single one that is really LAME

Just got incapped by an imperial medic....who was a lower level than I....I used to one-shot them...is this some kind of sick revenge?

any ranged special can be used with any ranged weapon. but some are less effective than others.

ok here is what i have to say... i was a prepatch commando and had fun with it, then the patch hit and everyone was a commando and i had fun but then over time i moved on, the past few days ive been on TC-EP3 PvPing for HOURS on end and i found a template that i ABSOLUTLY fell in love with, i have fairly limited Dmg output but i have more crowd control abilites than army of Riot Cops.

all i did was hang back a lil with my Acid stream launcher(inate blind with ever shot, and every attack u do is made into an area attack) and i would do "Improved ConcussionShot" into the crowd, Concussion is the best Root in the game lasts for like 35seconds, then i would do a intimdate shot and mayb a LowBlow or a Stopping shot orDisarming shot, those area roots are so F'n Uber its not even funny, i can hold a whole hord of ppl back for a good 5min, but with a big group and me just stickin to crowd control... we just wipped the floor witht them over and over again. when u see the whole group just standing still and all my guys just pickin off one at a time, and as soon as i see the stuff starting to drop i just reapply and cause im all ranged and what not i hella sick speed and acc so i almost never miss and if i do i can just pop another one off right away. ok im done rambling now
