Well, as most may have noticed the CU is hitting live servers already, and I'm left with a few questions about how certain stats work in this brave new world, so please indulge me some possibly dumb questions :

We now have General accuracy and speed mods in the game, do these stack on top of the heavy weapon speed and accuracy mods or do these only apply to certain weapons and the commando arsenal is limited to the heavy weapon mods only ?

In a similar vein there is now heavy weapon defense for commandos, do these stack on top of the generic ranged / melee defenses or is it a case of different defensive modifiers only applying if you do / don't have a heavy weapon equipped ?

If the answer to both of the above questions is "yes, we're limited to skills with the description 'heavy weapon speed / accuracy / defense when we have a heavy weapon equipped" which of our weapons are considered heavy weapons for skill purposes and which arent ?

If the majority of our weapons are classified as heavy weapons, and only skills with "heavy weapon" descriptions apply to us, then whats the point in dabbling other professions for anything other than specials, and how is this meant to "un-gimp" the commando profession ? (I mean I can put together templates with melee defense 190, ranged defense 160, general ranged accuracy 185 but if all these are rendered useless due to weapon specific qualifiers being in place and most of our weapons being classified as heavy, then how does any of the CU benefit us ??)

Now I know a lot of this is "worst case scenario" and "what if...." questioning, and apologies in advance if these have been answered elsewhere, but I dont remember seeing anything by the devs covering this, and I really only hang around here in the commando forums seeing as this is my prof and the most civil forum here.

Thanks in advance for any light you guys can shed on this for me, I'm after this info so I can decide on a template once I finish downloading the CU
