Really IMHO, it depends on what you envision as your combat role, and also, whether or not you would like more sp's availableto dabbleother things.
MBH highlights-
combined stun and dizzy in one attack
KD attack that rarely gets resisted
high damage attack in advanced critical
med damage attack with a built in bleed in torso shot
duelist stance- this is a really nice ability when faced with multiple attackers
great mobility, both while attacking in generaland over rough terrain
highest paid soloable missions remaining in the game at least for now
decent generic ranged speed mods
decent generic ranged accuracy mods
Rifleman highlights-
Cover
2 very high damage attacks (conceal shot, and sniper shot)
1 high damage attack (advanced head shot, comparable to advanced critical shot)
1 snare sttack
decent generic ranged accuracy mods
stun/blind/dizzy recovery
I tried out both templates on the TC-ep3 server before settling on master smuggler to combo with master commando. Of the two, I prefered mbh, but then, I prefer a mobile attack plan, and the flexibility that mbh/mc offers as compared to mrm/mc. I think you have to look carefully at the two roles and decide if you like the idea of being a long range nuker, or the idea of being an in your face kind of damage dealer. They are very different play styles. MRM/MC does leave a few points left over to play with though. More so than MC/MBH.
One of the best things that I have found about commando post cu, is that it combos well with any ranged profession that has special attacks of it's own. Commando serves to add a unique flavor, and a great deal of effectiveness to whatever combat role you choose. After testing on tc3, then on tc-ep3 since they've been up, and agonizing on what I should do with my charactersin therespec, the best adviceI can offer, is to think carefully about what combat role you favor, decide on a profession based on that role, and thenthink ofmaster commandoas a way tore-inforce that role.
I can say one thing for certain, and that is, no matter what you choose to combo with master commando, the class itself isn't just for fun or rp valueanymore. Commando is the real deal, andI think it stacks up against just about any other ranged profession, level 54 vs level 54, provided all of commando's tools are used (especially grenades... imperial detonator and thermal detonator in particular). Good luck in choosing your new template.

Thank you for your answer, im leaning towards MBH, it seems to have more options and a more open style of play. also when i played TC3-EP3 the grenades came in stacks of 500 is that the new standard or do they still only ome in like 30 to 40.
