Thread: Crafter Commando?.....Discussion on taking Commando as my only combat prof.
If you're gooing to keep crafting my best advice is not to take commando.
Why?
Commando is great in the CU, but it is best when complemented by another proffesion.
Since we have the respec I would suggest trying different combat profeesion out and see which one you like. They all have advantages and disadvantages but you need to decide what you like to play.

I switch from master BH/Master Rilfeman to Master BH/Master Carbs becuase I had fun playing it.
I think it would still be decent, provided you were quick with switching weapons.
The beauty of Commando now is that most of our weapons have many of the status effects built in to them, plus some of them have real nice raw damage, so you'll be able to get the job done without a secondary combat profession, you just won't be as efficient. Another thing to keep in mind will be the lowered combat level that you'll have.
We've got 2 weeks to re-spec, so give it a try and let us know how it goes! I'm curious to hear
