Seems to me theres a possible easy fix too this situation. If there gonna tell us the heavy damage HW are for situational uses then maybe they could give us commando only regular weapons. We already have one the launcher pistol, but it gives pistol exp. Maybe they could give us a commando only rifle and carbine, and make all three give HW exp but still be allowed too use the specials from the marksman skill tree. I would scceot harder to get and heavy penalties for using HW if they could at least give us some decent commando only firepower too use on a regular basis.

I just think its completly insane that a pistoller who only has too master one skill in the marksman tree before begining his trade can absolutley own a commando who has too master marksman and unarmed combot and get 40K in combat exp before he can even begin his trade(which by the way was a joy to got :-( ). They keep talking about balance well right now theres absolutley no balance these easy to get professions like pistoleer, carabineer, and rifleman are way stronger then us and they only had to master one skill in the marksman tree to get there.

as one of the devs said... and i really think this was based on how lazy they are... have you tried the weapons with specials?... they are only situational... ok... with body shot 2 on my fwg5 i outdmg commando specials... i think a rework needs to be done now... im sick of this ... oh the weapons are situational and aren't primary... im sick of pistol as a primary... commandos use assault rifles/rifles/grenade launchers/rocket launchers... they don't use pistols as a primary... nuff said

This was an idea that I had.....When grinding with Jedis in a group I hate it when a BH shows up and disrupts the flow of our group (especially when the group is doing well). I want to help my fellow group mate by healing him and killing the BH, but I can't intervene. Now, that I'm becoming a SL I can help somewhat but the suggestion I have is this; Allow the group members the option to defend the Jedi that is being attack if they wish to intervene. BHs will have to think twice about attacking a Jedi that is in a group and wait for a better opportunity. Granted BHs may complain, but that is the price they pay to bea BH . .. Just like its the price Jedi pay to being a Jedi when being hunted. Just a thought.

That's not fair at all. I disagree with BHs/Jedis getting SL buffs during combat, but oh well. A Jedi should understand that he risks getting BH'd if he gets vis.

brimestar- About a year ago you could do that i.e. anyone in the jedis group could attack the bh. It got to the point where the bh couldn't attack the jedi. Everyone in the jedi group attack the bh before the bh could even get a couple of shots fired at the bounty.
It was changedso that the fight is strictly against the bh and the bounty. Now I can see a MSL or SL in the group helping out a jedi against a bh...i think that should work out though.

Yes sorry i Have to agree it is too unbalanced....and if you havnt noticed this game is becoming SWG revenge of the bounty hunters and jedi are no more than content

If you allow Jedi group members to help the Jedi then you have to allow the BH to show up with a group of his friends, then we are back where we started. At least now its a one on one fight.
