Thread: Anyone test out grenades??
I've made some on my weaponsmith since the patch with pre-cu components.
I can't recall the base stats but with powerups I was able to get proton grenades to about 1750-2100 damage, these turned out quite nice for pvp giving me consistant 800-1200 while dueling a friend in energy enhanced battle armor.
I also made a few stacks of 900-3000'ish damage glop grenades ( 1800'ish venoms with dmg powerup ) that got hits as high as 2900 in pvp ( target was kd'ed and im pretty sure it hit an armor hole lol )
Was also able to get -29% combat speed for 39seconds on some cryoban grenades with unimpressive stats otherwise, but im pretty sure only the snare effect sticks,which only lasts 5seconds and cannot be experimented on
seems the double effect is getting bugged somehow. They should just remove the snare since it sucks so badly.
In short the new grenades are pretty sweet ( especially with those pre-cu warheads ) however the enhancments are currently making lower level grenades much more powerful then the higher. That seems like a huge inbalance to me... so if you want to see grenades get much much more powerful we should push to have munition components that can be accepted as " destructive pulse channeling " as a loot item available to us.
