I am a Master Commando, I have this Proton Rifle, but I can't seem to use it..

I can equip it just fine, but I can't get it to shoot.. any ideas?

There were a bunch that were bugged. It was supposed to get fixed, but some of them still don't work. you might have to buy annother, or loot it from necrosis again.(i think that's where it's looted from)

What you have there, unfortunately, is a legacy pre-pub 16 proton rifle. It's useless. Your best bet is to loot another one, or take a chance and buy a new one from a vendor. The problem with that is that you could be buying another busted one, or one with an AoE, and you won't know til its too late.

And yeah, they are a random loot drop of from NK-Necrosis.
