You should just keep your current toon and make a new one on test center. You get 3 toons, a less croweded server, and a nice community once you get to know them.

Today is the first timein a whileI wanted to log on. BUt I fear when I it will be to drop TKM and all but Novice commando and start working on pistoleer and smuglar and BH pistols so that I can be viable again.

Join the chat channel TCPA, theres plenty of people there to talk to. And no, tc stuff does not get deleted. TC operates for all intents and purposes like a live server, except that it gets patches early.

Garvin doesnt talk smack often with us (who knows what goes on in the Coro forums)... probably a wise decision at that.
I use to enjoy a good rant or too...Read some of my posts prior to becoming the Correspondent...I'd post a good rant in our Forum about everyday...Now I've just moved those daily rants over to the Correspondent forum where they can be seen and appreciated more closely...lol
My current strategy is 2 fold...
1) to get the Weapon (and hopefully Armor) delay removed or postponed until the CB at the very least....and
2) to pry out any info/specifics regarding our profession in the upcoming CB...
We are living in interesting times folks...It's a rollercoaster these days...We get news of a new tree...YAY!...We all get the Armor/Weapon Delay...BOO!!!...We see a new Accuracy change coming that makes us miss more (pulled thankfully for now)...Boo!...We find out our Heavy Weapon Mods will be unified and lootable skill mods will work again...YAY!...
And most interesting of all...Bounty Hunters are losing some of their Pre-Reqs...48 pts to be exact....why is this interesting to us...not because we could lose pre-reqs too, but because it puts us up at the top for costing the most skill pts (tied with Combat Medics and Bounty Hunters)...This is a Major Bargining chip and something I know that TH and JustG will take into consideration when "balancing us" in the CB...He has been all about "cost" lately regarding professions...he even made a statement the other day that we are one of the few professions that actually "pay" for what we get...I interpreted that to mean that we pay not only in skill pts, but also in our restrictions and penalties...the question is, if we "pay", what does that mean for other professions the the Devs don't feel are properly paying for what they are getting...
I'm actually feeling more optimistic everyday about what is coming...remember...Crap Happens, but the prize is still out there....

It's all still pretty unclear unfortunately...the Devs are still wrapping up the Jedi Revamp and beginning to get back to everything else...I'm expecting news from TH or JustG any day now...It could be weeks....It could be months...nothing is for sure yet...
