What is the best mob for a Novice Commando to level flamethrower on?

Don't use flamethrower till you have flamethrower 3. Till then, use the Launcher pistol and hack on some pikets on Dant. 3k per and can be done fairly quick.

Don't forget your handy-dandy marksman skills either. PointBlankArea1 works real good with the launcher pistol. Try it at the Jinda Cave POI on endor. Mucho XP. Beware though, little buggers will DB ya if they get the chance.
While ur waiting for the cave to re-pop, you can run around killing everything that doesn't poison or fly off, since PBA1 only has 15Mish range. Robas, Boar Wolves, Bolle Bols, Jax...tons of mobs to kill around the cave. If you can get the cave to yourself, 450K xp per run, easy.
Nice change from Dantooine too. All that purple....makes me gag.

Good advice, however I typically like the Savage Quenkers myself. Personal preference.

You can hit the exp cap on regular quenkers if you are in a group.

what are good stats for a launcher pistol anyway? i've been looking around for one but all the ones i've found arn't very good.
