Thread: Smugggler or Commando?

I have enough skill points for only one full line in either Smuggler or Commando, and I was wondering what the commando community would say was the strong points of the commando profession, and maybe some of you have been a smuggler, so you would have extra experience. Which line in commando is the ''best'' would you say, if you had to choose one?

We would have to know what your other skills are to see what either would compliment.

I'm soon to be a 0-0-4-2 tka, i have 0-3-0-0 carbineer, and 0-1-0-1 bh, no medic

I'm a Master Commando/Master Smuggler. The part of Smuggler I use most is slicing and you get an important bonus for Master Smuggler. I wouldn't have my stuff sliced by anything but a Master Smuggler. Spices are easy to buy, so no need there. Feign Death is nice in PvE from time to time as is Low Blow.
Unfortunately, the current situation for Commandos makes it so that the Flamethrower line is really the best thing going (pretty much exclusively), so I'd say: If you're not gonna Master Smuggler, then get the Flamethrower line of Commando.
