Thread: Can commando be used good in commando/bh / like healing?

ive always wanted ot be acommando but people warn me not to be one =( i wanna be commando bh thought flame would kill jedi pretty fast but dont know... currently im master rifleman/mbh/cm4000 any reasons to go commando for pvp plz tell me

I have actually been this template.....it is very effective against mid level or dabbling Jedi...not so much against MDef's...the problem is (with Jedi missions moved to MBH now) it does not allow for any bacta healing...have to use stims....so essentially, you need the fight to be over in 10-15 secs or you're in trouble



of course, with a PFT in your hands it usually was...lol....I also spent the remaining SP to pick up stopping shot from pistoleer and spammed Critical Hit with that and an /underhand shot i could typically get a jedi to stand still and take it for a good 10 secs...then they either ran like hell because they saw their HAM dropping like a sack of dirt faster than they could heal or they came after me because they have MDef and the post-CU equivilant of 85% Saber block (0-0-0-4 Sabers/Force Valor/Force aura all running at the same time)



but it was very fun (I only did it during the post-CU days where you could respec every 12 hours....I had been a Commando up till then) and I wound up being 7-2-5 Vs. Jedi marks

I admit, the lack of healing sucks against MDef's...they will just eat you alive...but I found that this is an awesome "shock and awe" method....most mid level and template changing Jedi take a look at a Health bar that is dropping like hell and want to run....but they can't because you have them rooted for a good 5-7 secs...and then follow with an underhand shot....trust me if you time all this right you will have them deathblowed by the time they try to KD recover...hit them with Critical hit the entire time you have them rooted and KD'd



sure, the could have gone toe to toe with you and possibly won...but they dont want to risk it because everyone just assumes everyone else has medic...thats assuming they have healing that can keep up with all this damage output



But I concede this much....if they turn to fight and have a half decent template or saber or both...they will whoop ya....but many dont even try....they run out of fear...which most Jedi do anyway until their template is complete



I was 7-2-5 (5 got away) with this template for the week I had it...Improved stopping shot followed by an underhand shot and 5-6 Crit hits thrown in+ their impulse to "OMFG!!!...LOOK AT MY HEALTH BAR....FR2 FTW!!!!" was what got them in the end...(well that and the AOE of my PFT blowing up the bikethey were running towards )
