Garvin I was reading a post were you said synergy between the combat classes in the combat revamp. If it is what I'm thinking of I posted the idea along time ago about classes having abilities that allow for special uses for other classes for example a pistoler also is a master fencer would be able to dual wield a pistol in one hand and a sword in the other. Also acombo pikeman/rifleman would be able to attach a bayonet onto his rilfe.
My question is if that is it what the combat revamp will allow thenwill commandos be the explosive side ofthe synergy like a riflemanwould be allowed to attach a grenade launcher onto his rifle or some such thing.
My main concern is that the devs just see us as the heavy weapons guys instead of an elite breed of soldier we shouldn't just get explosive weapons we should be an advanced version of the marksmanlike what the ranger is to the scout line. An upgrade on all the existing skills with some useful abillities thrown in.

i agree we should have better weapons for each of the markmen skills while not a proficient as a master riflemen or carbineer or pistoleer we are just a better bigger master riflemen with overcharge shot 5 BOOOOOOOM

Hey Deathstrike,
just to take your idea a bit farther, yeah, pipedream and probably left field, but......
Elite Elite class that is from two master elite classes. like your pikeman and rifleman having the bayonet, ect. so on. well, hmmmm.....i think you get my idea but well, hmmm...i will have to sleep on that one myself. lol. way to late to think and a freaking to busy day at work, and still must work just as hard tomarrow. glad i get a 4 weekend.

Interesting..... hmm..... this could either be the worst or best thing to happen to combat classes..... I love the idea of riflman being able to mount a bayonet on there rifle... that's what a modern day pike is, a bayonet on a rifle/carbine... there are very few pikes in this game, just staffs. (A pike is a stick with a very pointy end used to poke people where the sun don't shine, unless you are a dirty wookie

aaahhh, i thot being a commando WAS all about blowing stuff up. At least, thats why i became one, hehe

Nothing would please me more than to throw a flash nade sorta thingy into a group of enemies, cause a fog, and go in blasters blazing.

I thought commado was going to be one of the best professions in game and actually be commando like butttt i was wrong. I hope this revamp makes things for the better.
