hey fellas!

i've been playing a commando for more than 3 weeks now. I know about everythingthat's wrong with this class and i am disappointed due to sonys statement as everyone else on this board.

But let me tell you what:

Starwars was always a game of scoundrels, smugglers and daring come-ups. It is a universe of heroes, that sterm out of the lowly classes of society. It is about flying blaster bolts and daring raids, it is about knights saving princesses. Only those knights don't wear shining armour.

For some extend it is understandsable why so much weight is given to classes as the smuggler, or the pistoleer.

What i have to blame sony for, though is that if they wanted that kind of gameply, they shouldn't have implemented classes like the commando, which is most obviously a military class at all. Either they stick to scoundrels and princesses or they make the game on a wider scale and implement other professions as well.

IF they implement other professions as well, though, they also have to give the players that want to experience those professions the same feedback as any other class.

Honestly, they don't care about our oppinions, they will never do what WE say, as long as THEY didn't come up with that idea in the first place.

Bitchin about sony, trying to boycot them, cursing them or pleading them won't change anything at all.

They get plenty of money from all the other players, so why care about some lowly commandos.

They obviously don't want this game to be a military one, and thus, you won't see any further improvements.

I won't quit SWG, hell i won't even quit the commando, because i like the idea of a commando, but i also refuse to blind myself and think i have any realistic chance of competing on the battlefield at all. It's sad, but that's the way it's gonna be.

I am lucky that i have a fun group of people to play with. They help me out in combat, they provide me with my weapons, they provide me with my houses and even with money if need be. I hope for you all to find such a group for yourself.

P.S.: Commando: a military force, trained to execute quick and destructive hit and run attacks on enemy held territory and fortified positions. Trained in amphibious warfare and unconventional warfare. Wonder, if the Dev's ever had a dictionairy in their hands....
