After rewatching Empire and Return, I saw tripod mounted weapons and other Hvy support weapons. not turret type but like the USE military M2 and M60. It would be nice to have those type to have as a commando.

One of those was the infamous T21, lol- they gave it to us riflemen b/c we can't snipe worth crap, lol.

yes, but the t21 in the hands of a mrifleman, is a deadly weapon

yeah that e-webb post got really mucky..especially from some SL's who thought that making it Commando-only cert (and them with added mods/tactical skills to improve the weapon) was stupid, and that they should also get the cert...meanwhile SL's are to lead...not be fire support...they tell us commandos (hence tactical skills such as I suggested) what to shoot at...

The tripod mounted weapons are the E-Webs. This concept has been discussed on the boards for some time with the main problem being balancing. At one point the Squad Leaders were trying to have it as a dual cert with us. Not sure what happened with the thread, but it was getting mucky and complicated.

Pretty much. It started spinning wheels with no real direction. Before we get the E-Web I would like a lot of our other weapons fixed though so no big deal. Would be cool though...
