Dumb question I know, but I'm so used to using my 3.0 speed flamer I don't even know if there is such a thing as a speed cap
Anyhow, what I need to know is, will the0.8 speed P up'ed and sliced Gorax LP I was given actually fire (and more appropriately fire specials) at that speed or not ??
(It'll make a difference to me because I have some pistoleer in my template and was just curious as to how devastating Fanshot from this gun would be)
Thanks in advance

In general, it should never fire faster than once per second no matter what. As to how devastating it'll be, depends on who you ask. The old BH corre, Wepps, claimed that the LP was far superior to the Scatter in PvP, but why it seems to work that way is unclear—the LP's AP0 should give it a pretty bad disadvantage. For PvE, as long as whatever you're shooting is low blast resist or blast vulnerable it should be okay.
For myself, even with 0-0-0-3 Pistoleer, the LP isn't very useful yet…then again, part of the draw of the template I'm going for (Master Commando/Master Smuggler/0-0-0-3 Pistoleer) was to shoot people in the crotch repeatedly with an LP. So maybe once I finish the Dirty Fighting track I'll have more fun with it.

*peers at his 2.1 speed, frowns* Man, I need to master smuggler already and just slice a crate worth of these things.

hehe - thanks for the feedback guys... looks like I'm going to be trying out my new LP tonight.

I'm following command/BH
I just did a calc on my LP 64-202 2.2 speed and when I hit BH Pistols II i'll max out the speed at 1.1 sec.
Pistols III and IVwill be meaningless gravy.
Love the effects!
