And you have 2 commandos with you. They each stack 4 burns on it... Are the burns independent, thus, the SBD now has 8 burns on it, or does it only have the 4, regardless?

A player is only supposed to be able to apply a single DOT per bar on a target, no more stacking DOT's by a single player so actually there should only be 2 DOT's going, 1 per player. This is of course if it is working correctly. They changedhow DOT's workabout 3 publish's ago.

This applies to all kinds of DOT's. A CM/Rifleman for example can't stack a mind bleed and mind poison, again if it is working correctly.

Are you sure of that? Several times recently I have stacked three burns (Only Shock Trooper) against creatures. Maybe it's just my imagination but I'm pretty sure I have.

I think you'd be able to stack 8, as the DoT change seems to have reverted back to how it was originally at some point.

It may very well have reverted back. SOE has a tendency to "unfix" stuff from previous patch's with each new patch, and not always on purpose.

yep, I can sometimes get DoT burns up to 4k per tick because of multiple stacking...I can wipe out 100% NS, and even got the Elder with it =)

SOE better not fix this before fixing us...

Anyways ive noticed you can only have 2 DoTs at once, HOWEVER 1 flame cone 1 dot = 1k dmg, 2 flame cone 1 & 2 dots = 2k dmg...but theres only 1 tick....same thing applies with flame single, however at every tick, 2 2k's tick..

However..I have gotten 1 massive 4.5k tick (was today) and another 1-2k tick...so dunno fully

i've gotten as high as 16k ticks with stacking all 4 moves with a 1.2k flamer and a few kded hits.
