Can anybody explain to me a logical reason for the FT haveing such low accuracy?
I mean, how hard can it be to hit somebody with a huge flame?!! Its pretty dam wide really, much easier to aim with than a gun.
How could you ever miss with it from around 10m away? It just makes no sense.
Also, jedi should'nt be able to block it because that makes no sense either, they should only be blocking energy and electricity ranged weapon
*sigh* Not a greatly coherant post but I'm in a rush to get ingame
I'm looking to go smuggler/comando after I get smuggler/TKM and this is one of my biggest gripes with commando, simply because there is no logical reason for it
The FT should probably be the most acurate ranged weapon in the game when you consider it's nature and the range it is used at. Has this been brought up with the Devs?

There is no real logic in the flamethrower's inaccuracy, but I can tell you it only gets better. After you progress up to flamethrower 3 and above, you'll be hitting pretty much 85% ofthe time.

Right. At the beginning, flamethrower accuracy is horrible. As you go up the tree and reach flame3, you will be significantly better. At master commando, the accuracy is quite good. You do get tremendous bonus at master level as well.
