Ok rdy heresthe scoop, i am a commando and i love my launcher pistol. So i got the profession pistoleer to better my skill with a pistol (which a lp is...i think).So i am out in the feild trying to grind pistol xp with my lp but i am getting little (70-80) or no pistol xp, can anyone tell me why and how to fix this problem? and will pistoleeer skills really help me andthe love of my life (launcher pistol)?

Yes the pistoleer skills do help with both the Speed mods, Accuracy mods, and defense mods.

Also Double tap, and stopping shot are quite good.
Put down the LP and find a FWG5 for now.

I believe they fixed it that it only gives HW xp now, I know if you use Pistol whip you get pistol xp.

Erm, ..

I thought there was some big lobbying happening to get the pistol to give heavy weapon xp.

If you do want pistol xp, you should use a "pistol pistol", and not a "one hand use heavy weapon".

- a pistoleer weapon - gives pistol xp
- a marksman: pistol tree weapon - gives pistol xp
- a commando weapon - gives "commando" xp

Yes.

It is assumed that the launcher pistol uses pistol speed / accuracy. So going Pistoleer is a very good idea to improve your use with this.

It uses pistol specials as well. So Pistoleer and Smuggler both have specials that are useful.
