Thread: Iknow fun, and this isnt it
I'm sure you already know it, but there are others who are feeling your pain.
See, there are people who think it's actually a good thing that a player can eventually, through a lot of work, get the gear together to kill some high end mobs.
But, the devs don't think that should be possible at all. They are convinced it shouldn't.
Yet what would happen were this possible? People would still enjoy the game, groups would still be viable because theywould be able to kill big stuff, only much faster. Since killing big stuff in a group is for loot usually, then this works out in the groups advantage still.
You see the problem is that the devs don't know that if they let players have some freedom the game can still be fun.
There would be more loot and more cool schematics and components in the market, more stuff for players to have fun with.
My opinion... they are still running into database trouble.. this is all tied to that in some way. Conspiracy? No. They simply don't want to talk about it.
If I were them, I wouldn't either.
They need someone who can deal with their DB problems. Hrm...........
Tao
Ah well, what to say...
I feel your pain.
I have been a commando since August and I loved the class. I got real sick of all the PvP nonsense, but commando still let me have a relativly good time in PvE. After playing around for several hours on Lok and Dathomir, I have come to the conclusion that Master Commando now SUCKS. It takes up FAR too many skill points for too little in return. The only real PvE upside to commandos now is lobbing RL after RL at a dragon, and that's kind of hard to do solo.
So, it's official. Master Commando = Surrender Skill? Yes. It's all gone now. Thankfully I had enough combat and rifle XP banked from my days as a master sharpshooter to get a good amount of rifleman back. Now all I have to do is figure out what to stack on top of rifleman now that I have all these spare skillpoints floating around.
Im gonna miss setting stuff on fire.
